First Travel Solutions (FTS), the UK’s market leader in the supply of managed passenger transport services, is delighted to announce the appointment of Hannah Cattermer as Business Development Manager.
Hannah joins from the First Bus Business Development Team, bringing extensive experience in bids and proposals across sectors, including NHS healthcare, transport, and managed services. With strong expertise in public sector procurement, client relationship management, and end-to-end bid processes, Hannah is set to play a key role in supporting FTS’s ambitious growth plans.
Her appointment completes the restructuring of FTS’s Business Development Team, a move designed to strengthen client relationships, create bespoke transport solutions, and drive new growth opportunities.

With over 30 years in the transport industry, Richard has built a career delivering bespoke solutions for clients ranging from corporate events to major international sporting occasions, including the Silverstone Grand Prix, London Olympics, Rugby World Cup and London Marathon. His leadership ensures FTS continues to combine operational excellence with innovation and a client-first ethos.

- Paul Upton, Business Development Manager – formerly Sales Manager, Paul brings a proven track record in creating bespoke transport products and scaling innovative solutions for major clients, including Team GB, West Ham United and LNER. With his focus on meaningful relationships and client success, Paul ensures FTS solutions are never “off the shelf” but always tailored to deliver the best.
- Nic Ryder, Head of Business Development – appointed earlier this year, Nic brings senior commercial partnership and growth experience from roles at Avanti West Coast, Virgin Trains, and Day Out With The Kids. Her leadership is central to driving FTS’s growth in the managed transport, meetings and events sectors.
